Stay hydrated: As temperatures rise, it’s essential to drink plenty of water and other hydrating fluids to prevent dehydration. Make sure to carry a water bottle with you when you’re out and about.

Protect your skin: Sunburn can cause long-term damage to your skin and increase your risk of skin cancer. Apply sunscreen with a high SPF and wear protective clothing such as hats and sunglasses.

Prepare your home: Check your air conditioning system and make sure it’s in good working order. Clean your fans and make sure they are functioning properly. Consider installing window shades or reflective film to keep your home cool.

Protect yourself from insects: Summer is the peak season for insects such as mosquitoes and ticks. Use insect repellent and wear protective clothing when spending time outdoors.

Stay safe in the water: If you plan to swim, make sure to do so in a designated area with a lifeguard on duty. Always supervise children when they are in or near water.
