Hailing from the lands of Barbados, Rihanna becomes the first female singer to garner one billion streams on the top trending music platform Spotify. Taking the industry by storm Rihanna topped the platform with most streams with only ten songs.
Her remarkable achievement is attributed to the immense popularity of several hit songs, including collaborations such as “Love the Way You Lie” with Eminem, “Work” with Drake, “This is What You Came For” and “We Found Love” with Calvin Harris, “Four Five Seconds” with Kanye West and Paul McCartney, as well as her solo tracks like “Umbrella” featuring Jay-Z, “Diamonds,” “I Want,” and “Love on the Brain,” as reported by OiCanadian.
