Fairy Tale

The story of Fairy tale revolves around Umeed, a young middle-class girl who dreams of living the life of a princess and is always on the lookout for get-rich-quick schemes. In her overwhelming quest, something fantastical falls in Umeed’s lap when she receives an invitation to a show that promises to make her dreams come true but she soon realizes that there are no fairies or magical spells in real life and everything comes with a hefty price tag. Undeterred, Umeed sets out on a journey to make her dreams a reality, encountering quirky characters and learning valuable lessons about life, relationships, and happiness. With the help of her friends and family, Umeed discovers that the real magic in life comes from within.

Directed by Ali Hasan of the Paristan and Pyari Mona fame, produced by Momina Duraid Productions and written by Saira Majeed, Fairytale promises to be a laughter-filled journey with a humorous take on life, relationships, and dreams. Fairytale features Sehar Khan and Hamza Sohail as lead characters. This serial will mark the television debut of Adnan Raza Mir and also features Ali Safina, Saman Ansari, Aena Khan, Saleem Sheikh and others in important roles. Starting from first Ramazan, Fairytale will air every day at 7 pm.

Main characters of the play are Umeed (Sehar Khan), Farjad (Hamza Sohail) , Haya (Aena Khan), Sameer (Adnan Raza Mir) and  AK khan (Ali Safina). The show unfolds as the journey of Umeed begins with the desire and longing for being rich and have it all. From praying for miracles , to being embezzled by a group of people, to trying her luck on a game show, Umeed’s ambition intertwines the lives of others around her too. Where the main plot of the drama encompasses the actions and repercussions of short-cuts of getting rich, Fairy Tale also offers the classic rom-com relief through other characters. The melodious OST of the show also reveals the romantic tension between the two lead couples of the show along with its heartwarming lyrics and beautiful landscapes.
